“We had an absolutely incredible experience on this olive oil tour! From the moment we met Alberto, it was obvious how passionate he is about his work, his region, and sharing both with others. The 45-minute drive to the farm flew by because Alberto spent the entire trip telling us about the history, culture, and landmarks of Alicante. His knowledge was impressive, but what made it even better was how genuinely excited he was to share it. At the farm, he walked us through the olive grove and explained every step of the olive oil production process in a way that was easy to understand and incredibly interesting. You could tell this wasn’t just a job to him—it was something he truly loves. One of the highlights of the day was the picnic. Alberto had personally gone out that morning to purchase fresh local foods and wines, and he took the time to explain each item, where it came from, and why it paired so well with the different olive oils we sampled. It made the experience feel authentic and personal rather than something put together for tourists. If you’re visiting Alicante and are considering this tour, don’t hesitate. It was one of the highlights of our trip. Alberto’s passion, hospitality, and attention to detail made for an unforgettable experience. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough!”

“Rebecca arranged EVERY detail of our trip to Alicante. We did a private boat tour to Tabarca Island, and snorkeled in the beautiful Mediterranean water. It was so special being there and with my girlfriends for my 50th birthday celebration! Every restaurant or tapas place that was recommended was 10/10, and she definitely steered us towards ordering the most authentic cuisine from Alicante. Thank you for introducing me to the tinto de verano, my new favor summer drink! We had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of watching the solar eclipse from a rooftop bar that also had a stunning view of the Castillo de Santa Bárbara. (A perfect spot that only a local would have known!) We already have plans to return next year and will DEFINITELY be doing a wine tour with Ali-Oli Tours. Thank you for an unforgettable time, Rebecca and Alberto! It is clear that you truly love your city and sharing it with people. ~Meredith, Austin, TX”

“My family took a tour of Canelobre Caves and the town of Busot with Alberto and had the best time! The caves are incredible to see in person and to go with a local really added to the experience. Alberto had great info and tips, and even got us in early. Afterwards, he took us to wander around the small town and treated us to a drink to support a local business. As a bonus, his van was comfortable, had great air conditioning, and provided a booster seat for our child without us asking. He spent the 30 min drive from Alicante telling us about the local area. Highly recommend this tour!”

“Three of us took the guided walking tour of Alicante's Mercado Central (Central Market) with Rebecca as our guide. Rebecca was extremely personable and very knowledgeable, providing a thorough history of both the market and the building as well as that of the family-run stalls that we visited. We met many of the vendors and were introduced to a wide cross-section of Spanish and regional foods with lots of delicious samplings of pastries, nuts, olives, fruits, cheese, and jambon. Rebecca then led us through the neighborhood just outside the market to a gift store selling regional wines, nuts, candies, and olive oil, giving us an excellent idea of the kinds of local gifts that we could bring back to family and friends...and even just for ourselves! Our tour ended with a sampling of tapas and Alicante vermouth at a nearby restaurant followed by a quick stop at a bar for a glass of local red wine and a grilled snack. We actually returned to the restaurant a few days later to sample more of the vermouth. We had a wonderful time in Alicante (our first to the city and to Spain) and consider this tour one of the highlights of our trip. We strongly recommend the market tour...and taking it early in your stay. There is no question that what we learned about Spanish and Alicante cuisine on the tour helped us to make excellent food choices for the rest of our trip. And we recommend taking the tour with Rebecca just as strongly. She was not just an engaging guide, but she also gave us lots of suggestions of other activities and places to visit during our stay in Alicante.”
